Airdog2-165 and EJWA-cs install question.

Just finished up the new airdog 2 165 w/ quick disconnects. Open up my new ejwa-cs, read instructions and see it comes with a banjo setup for fuel pressure.

Wires to short to put sensor on airdog.
Whats my bbest bet here for the fuel sensor??

Check out Vulcan Performance. They carry a lot of fittings like this one Push Lock Fuel Pressure Tee 1/2"

I like to see the fuel pressure sender at the inlet for the VP44. The closer to the inlet, the better, IMO.

Thats my dilema. I could easily make an extension wire to reach the airdog. Just not sure if thats going to be the same or real similar number to one i would get under the hood closer to the vp44. Then again i hate to cut the brand new quick connect line if i dont have to.

How are you plumbing your AD? Direct tot he VP44, or into the factory fuel filter? There are many options available for fittings and adapters.

I plumbed it direct with the kit i got. It came with a quick connect fitting to go right in vp44. Then i opened the edge and it comes with a different banjo style fitting for vp44.

Not familiar with the quick connect you are referring to. I've only seen them with JIC (AN) fittings into the VP.

RAW, they are a "snap" or "push lock" style connectors that snap onto the fitting supplied and can be released by squeezing the tabs on connector head.

Your fuel pressure gauge should have a sending unit with 1/8" NPT what i did was cut the 1/2" fuel line that is supplied with the AirDig and used the T fitting like Bryce supplied the link for. You can thread your sender into that T or thread a snubber in the T and then your sender into the snubber. Mine is T'd into the line about a foot behind the IP and you can throw some hose clamps on there to make it a little more secure if you want.

Yeah, that banjo bolt came with the ejwa. Just wasnt keen on cutting the new hose. First time in forever i havent lost prime overnight. I do appreciate everyones input.

Oh, I know the fitting, no stranger to them at all. I've never seen them in a kit to attach the hose to the VP44. Either a JIC push lock fitting, or push lock banjo, direly on to the hose.
