Default Modified Fuel Module with Drawstraw

Sup,

So my fuel gauge has started fail on me and since I have had some issues with the 1/4 tank and the drawstraw, I got to thinking and searching. I originally had the drawstraw that came with my AD150 installed, but I cut the straw too short and had 1/4 issues. So in 2009 I ordered another drawstraw to go into my OEM fuel canister. Followed the directions and measured twice before cutting. Still having issues but only as I was low on fuel and hitting the brakes. My AD return is routed into my filler neck, so I called Vulcan and they gave me some good advice. Found a great deal on a new Airtex fuel module with the intank pump. So I purchased the DS V and ended up spending less this route than on the modified liberty.

Here are some pictures incase someone may have thought about going this route and doing the bombing themselves. The whole think can be taken apart as you can see from the pictures. You will need a deep 15/16 socket to tighten the bulkhead fitting. Also this will route my AD return to the canister along with the normal return from the engine. So now that it is done, it will be put into action within the week.

Follow up.....

I got it installed and all with no leaks. Prior I had like 18 psi at idle, now I have 21 at idle. So I knew something was not right before, but it is all good now. I am really digging the DS V.
