94cummins12v 02-12-2008 10:45 PM

what do you mean they suck they are easy to work on

LOGANSTANFORTH 02-12-2008 10:58 PM

no VE pumps are easy to work on, 7100's are a pain in the ass, at what point does anyone think its a GREAT idea to put 5 point hex security screws in the pump from the factory then mount fuel lines over top of them......i drilled the head off one then backed it out with vise-grips, then drilled the head off the other one and beat it out with a screwdriver and hammer......couldnt even touch the star wheel in the truck cause of the 5 point hex bolts.....NO ONE SELLS 5 POINT HEX SECURITY BITS........

94cummins12v 02-12-2008 11:02 PM

i had the same problem with mine just replace them with regular hex head bolts then it is eisyer to make changes
