4:10s with 4k spring kit
My 98 has 4:10s in it. I like that my truck is really quick but gettin on the interstate im hittin 2500 rpm at 70 and im not to crazy about that. I was wonderin if i should just get some diff gears or would puttin in a 4k rpm kit help with that. ive been planing on do it regardless of that but thought it mite help. any advice would help. Also with my setup is 17* to much timing when i get it bumped?

It'll let you go faster, but 2500+ rpm is a lot for cruising. Being as your 2wd (like me) and aren't gonna be running 35"+ tires I'd go down to a set of 3.55's or even 3.31's if your buying new gears and not just swapping axles.

Gov spring won't change engine speed to road speed correlation. Like stated before it'll let you turn more rpms to go faster but won't do anything to cut your rpms down at 70 mph.
