Delivery Valves

are 191's or lazer cut's or custom lazer cut's to hot to be used on the strret?
since i have a 215 pump i have the 181s and they seem to be sufficient. i just didnt know if they would be to hott for the street.
im looking in a set of sdx or smokem 5x14's too

191's were my fav for the street. I have full cuts now and do not like them at all.

Your 181 dv's should be enough for what you have

R&RDiesel 03-14-2010 06:20 PM

What you have should be plenty for you, but 191's or even a laser cut, just not a full cut would work on the street, it all depends on what your wanting to do with the truck and your setup.

i do mostly daily driving with some towing. so i dont need anything extreme. i just know lazer cuts are really hott. especially with a load behind you

I really like my DDP DVs. :tu:

navalseabee 03-25-2010 03:53 PM

191's all the way.:tu:

Red_Rattler 03-25-2010 04:22 PM

Lasers and full cuts are the same thing... On the street they are not friendly at all 191 is more than what any truck on here can use. 181's are nothing to cry about either...

monster12valve 03-25-2010 06:37 PM

im doing 191; with sdx 5x14s

dan33klein 03-25-2010 10:25 PM

nothin, if you have a lathe you can make laser cuts or what ever you want to call them. if you had the time and patience you could even "custom" cut a set for how you like to drive

Smokem 03-26-2010 10:53 AM

The way I cut mine is not the same as everyone else, so should I call mine "custom"?

BIG NIG 03-26-2010 10:54 AM

why not

12vcummins96 03-26-2010 10:59 AM

smokem specials

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

weston is there going to be a price increase since the nozzle change
[color=grey][size=-2]

Smokem 03-26-2010 11:04 AM

Yes there will be a price increase, $100 at most and only on certain sizes, but the new nozzles will be far better than the VCO stuff we used before. I call my delivery valves 15's, 90cc's more than a 191 @ 21mm rack.

12vcummins96 03-26-2010 11:09 AM

ok cool just needed to know when i get with nick

Smokem 03-27-2010 05:52 PM

"Custom" I guess.
