fans
need to know what type of elctric fans to use on a 12v cummins in my fummins eliminating the manual how much flow is needed and what fans to use that aint 600 bucks
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- ok i got an idea what to use as a fan my question is, is a fan used as a pusher fan and a fan used as a pulling fan bad? would it be pointless or having a 3800CFM as a ppusher and a 3800CFM puller gunna do me any good? |
I don't think having one of each opposing each other is going to do you any good.
i don't think putting one on each side will help you.
flexalites aren't too expensive. I run two of them and have no problems. |
do like i did. ford taurus fan is 30 bucks at the local junk yard. cheapest way to do it
tltruckparts i am no doubt doing what you did but i think im gunna run duals and yes flexalites are to damn expensive
just find a couple of cheap fans and self tapper them to the core support
Did you come to a conclusion on this matter? I am considering getting an electric fan setup as well and am curious.
taurus fans are the way to go guys. they are pretty slim and you wont find another oem quality fan for 35-50 bucks like the taurus electric fans are. these things dont even really need fans to begin with. my fan NEVER runs, and i get to a highest of about 195 sitting in traffic. if i kick my fan on, it drops to 180 literally in like 20 seconds. ive towed about 12000 pounds behind it in 75* california weather a couple days ago and my fan didnt once turn on. so 1 fan is MORE than overkill. with 1 of these fans youll be set. no need for two, at all.
Ok so fans out of what year taurus? They are prolly gonna have to be set to a switch aren't they
