about how much are these kits and what all is involved in putting them in. my truck pulls hard till about 3k. then starts losing ass and i want it to pull longer. i have a buddy that can install it but would rather do it myself.

I believe its much the same as the 3k spring install.....PDR governor spring installation You should get a decent set of instructions, depending on where you get them from.
You also need to put in the HD valve springs. |

Pretty easy. Just make sure to put the nuts on the same distance. Use a set of vernier calipers to measure the stud stick out.
4K is the same as a 3K with one extra spring in the pack. And if you do it right, you'll be putting in 60# valve springs. Otherwise the valves will float at around 3800 RPM. Good luck:rocking: |
if you have the 3K in already you can buy the conversion kit for cheap. post up a price request thread in the price request forum
