Okay - you win. :ouch:

Still not going to squeeze 4k RPM's out of my truck. :lol88::rock::up:

Agreed. I dont think I have ever needed that many RPMs before. Even when I was stuck in the snow a few weeks back.

With the 4k, it would rev to 1500 with VERY little effort. This was under no-load, or "free rev" tests in park. It (the 4k kit) takes less pedal to get it up to speed than the 3k kit.

That is what I thought. If I have 3k over stock it would lighten the throttle. If I use the 4k over the 3k it should be even lighter.

If I am correct the 4k should pull more from 0 to 60 then the 3k.

Also I have a automatic so it only goes up to 3000 when it shifts but it seems to start loosing power after 2700. I want full power up to 3000-3200:U:

There are a couple of things you will want to consider before making your final decision.

What do you want to do with the truck? Are you going to be pulling, drag racing, or street driving it? Are you currently running a stock turbo? Do you plan to upgrade your turbo? What about timing? Have you bumped it up yet? A 4k kit will make more power at higher RPM's if you move the power band up by adjusting the timing.

Another thing to keep in mind is to turn 4k safely (as far as your engine is concerned) you will also want to install 60 lb valve springs (to avoid valve float) and billet retainers and keepers. It's cheap insurance against having a valve drop.

Good info. Things like this need to be put in one thread and made a sticky.
