well id like to avoid 370s but im guessing new eras could be the same Its your dollar and your truck,I was mearely trying to save you some cash........Andy |
see what ive been told is that the spray pattern is wrong, that they make ur egts sky rocket etc etc.. im not saying ur wrong im just saying theres been so many negatives ive been told, it kind of makes me want to avoid them.. haze i dont really care for but it seems like u said no matter what ones u get its gonna happen.. basically long as they dont do it once the trucks warmed up im ok
I am by far no expert but from what I understand is the marine applications have 155 spray pattern and the trucks have a 145 spray pattern. According to most people I have talked to this is why they haze sometimes at idle and smoke a lot. Yes any performance injector is going to smoke more than stock but some are much more controllable than others.

yea i asked the new era rep on this forum but he hasnt answered me back yet
I have a set of 370's, they do haze but it's not all that bad. They do smoke pretty good when you hog into it but the smoke is very easily controlled. EGT's aren't to bad either really (I don't think), i could hit 1600* pretty easily, but just normal driving they keep pretty cool 700*ish.
I personally love my 370's :U: |
see to me 1600s alot considering mine right now will only hit 1300.. do u have the stock exhaust elbow?
I'm running stock hx-35 turbo to full 4" exhaust into the bed and 5" stacks.
are u runing like a hx-40 style downpipe with an adapter to the back of ur turbo or are u running ur down pipe off the stock exhaust elbow? because that stock elbow is only about 2inchs in diameter
Stock Elbow...... I know.... :argh:
