What about a variable geometry turbo? I have heard when they start going out they get really laggy.

i had a guy at a dodgr dealer tell mr that stock programing thats just how they are so i guess its just me aleys thinking there is somthing rong eith every truck i own lol. that makes perfect sence what eall eere daying about the torque management, as for gears im not sure i think there suposed to be 3:73 but they feel more like 4:10 at highway speeds the tag isnt on the diff cover so next time i pull the cover ill find out

Open your glove box should have a tag for factory options, or what you rpm at 70mph we can find out

Has it had a engine flush ? sounds like everything is clean but it has to all pass through the.. EGR.. replace it. could be as simple as that. you can clean them too but its just as easy to buy a new one and replace it.. although it helps to get parts at cost.:tttt:

maybe you need a smaller turbo in front of a really big turbo that should fix the lag
