okay so i just bought a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Cummins Quad Can Shortbed. This is gonna be my baby lol. Im just gonna use this truck for pleasure driving, take it on trips, keep it shiny in the garage lol. I saw on another forum that the use of different rear axles will drastically increase gas mileage? Ive never really dealt with dodge rear axles I am a Ford Tech so dont be to harsh on me lmao :choochoo:

I think you are talking about the 3.42 gears out of the newer ones.
