fuel injector pressure

i am needing to change out the injectors and i know how but the question is do i have to release the pressure in the lines??? i know that they get up to about 23,500psi while running but does it drop off when its shut off? i just dont want to cause any injuries.:s: thanks!

the rail pressure is dumped out of the system allmost as fast as the engine stops spinning after turning the key off so you have nothing to worry about :c:
