I messed up on my choice, BAD!

Well I should have bought the FASS pump with the filters but I listened to my friend and bought just the pump :booo:. My question is, is there a way to possibly trade my pump in for the one with filters and pay the extra couple hundred or am I just SOL? The pump itself has less than 600 miles on it. If I can't trade it in or anything I think I will just get an AirDog because they are cheaper and the attachment to the frame is easier than drilling holes for the FASS although it looks like a more difficult install with more cutting and drilling. What do you guys think? Thanks!

id just add filters. n.a.p.a. part # 4309 filter base and 3123 10 micron prefilter with the water drain. good size spin on filter.

use n.a.p.a. # 4770 filter base for your 2 micron 3526 spin on filter.

just what i'd do if i were you.

these are inexpensive especially with the filter sale going on this week.

Hmmm how does that work? Do you just connect it to the FASS somehow? Does it have the same principle as the FASS filter things?

you would splice the fuel line and add the filter bases where you cut the line

i think there lost on what your saying you bought the ddp fass system right? any way you might asked the company you bought it from or put it up for sale there are a lot of people looking for lps:c:

I bought just the pump so I suppose its the ddp system. But I was wondering if they would just sell me the part that connects to the pump and then you can connect the filters.

Sorry i forgot to ask yeah is the pump mount in the same place as the old lp, then you would need the whole new pump if it mounts where the old lp is. then you got the ddp and its olny good for like 30% better then stock the 95 and 150 comes with the filters

No its a FASS HPLP 150gal and its mounted to the frame back by the front of the truck bed. Its just the HPLP with no filters but can you add filters to the HPLP or do you have to order a whole new kit with the LP connected to the filters? Sorry for the confusion.:argh:

Go here Glacier Diesel Power - Product Detail and get everything you need just plug and play. You'll be fine. Keep your stock system for WIF and the heater.

You can't just add filters to the existing pump, you would have to swap for the correct configuration.
