I did it in this order Intake, Exhaust, Transmission, BRAKES (easy to go fast but try stopping in a hurry), Transfercase (If you want to smoke all 4s for the audience :) ), Shafts, Gauges, Turbo, Fuel Delivery System, Injectors, Stack the Chips as high as you can.

Spent about 30k on it. But never got under 12.3 seconds with the stock tires and rear end.

Dyno showed 497 PS at the wheels and 1123 Nm torque last week when I tried to get the truck certified here in Austria.:w2: I am not sure that this is correct though since the Dyno at the testing station here in Austria was not built to measure trucks like this.

With your mods you should be well over 500hp. :humm:

Yes that's what I thought too. DDP in Monroe clocked me at 657 RWHP on 4 with the Juice. I am not sure what the Austrian Dyno does but the guy said that there is a difference between RWHP and PS for one and for two he was not sure that his Passenger car Dyno was all that accurate above 300 PS.

I have an appointment at a truck Dyno 3 weeks from now at the Steyr Factory in Graz and I hope to get the correct values because without that I can't get the tags here and have to pay a huge insurance premium because it is a uncertified (possibly not road worthy) foreign car :(

I will keep the forum posted what I find.

Diesel Trucks with that much power are rarely seen here outside of the racetrack.

Good luck doing reliably for less then $12,500 And I dont see you doing it anyway that will allow you to still have a warranty. And I dont see a Stock tranny doing a 12 sec run.

Very well put.. Might also want to consider either a modded CP3 or a twin CP3 setup as well as an AirDog. That way you don't ever have to worry about starving for fuel. In the long run it will be money well spent.

If you really want a well built tranny you should do what I did and call Fabian at Toxic diesel in St George utah.. (pm me for his #) I hada built tranny from suncoast that was like 7K.. took it to him when the 2nd gear band burnt and it was leaking.. he pulled it apart and suncoast had used paper clutches in my 7K tranny.. Needless to say he put steels in now but i was shocked.. he said a lot of the big name tranny guys are using paper clutches..
