Any brake experts?
 

When I bought this 05, the brakes had a consistant squeak when brakes were applied. If you pushed hard enough, it would go away. I took it in for new pads. Took care of the problem for about 2 days, then it was back. It took it back, the buffed the pads and spun the rotors. Good for 2 days again and it was back. I drove it that way for 2 months to see if it would go away. No luck. Took it back and they warrantied the pads. Tried a new set(different brand). Once again, 2 days good and then back.
Anybody have a clue? They sure didn't. Could there be something with the rotors? Hate to replace them and it not be the fix.
It is very irritating. The winter is tolerable because the windows are closed, but the summer will drive me nuts.

Apply some anti-squeak compound to the back of the brake pads. Comes in a small bottle, orange in color.

:humm: the only thing i could think of is dirt on the pads but since it happens every time you change them...IDK:argh:

Soak it with brake cleaner and see if that helps. Usaully changed stops it for longer then 2 days. :argh:

THE BARKE PADS THAT ARE SOLD AT THE DEALERS ARE CALLED V-LINE PADS. THE ARE A HIGH MATALIC COMPOUND SO THEY SQUEEK. WHAT YOU CAN DO IS STICK MOPAR PADS ON AND TRY THAT. IT HAS FIXED THE PROBLEMS ON ALL THE VEHICLES I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH

Mine does the same. I have new rotors, new pads, and applied a liberal amount of NAPA's anti squeak liquid to the backs of the new pads........no help. (Autozone life time pads)

Try different pads next time, some of the metallic and ceramic pads squeak.

Got the same issues with mine, I am going to replace the rotors pads and brake fluid, didn't have this issue until I have the front knuckles changed out from my local shop.

I am thinking that they didn't get the brake bleed done completely and that "In my thinking" is causing the calipers to not completely open back up so now my pads are worn uneven and when the weather warms so does the noise from my brakes :argh:
