I have been having the same code since installing my HTT 62/71/14 last week. Every time it comes up it throws the truck into limp mode. I am driving it every day seeing if I can get it to happen again. There was really no rime or reason to it either time also.

Doesn't have anything to so with the low boost code, but what size turbo do you have?
|
when I kept getting all these codes, I took off the iat and map sensor and just wiped off any crap that was on it. Not sure if it has helped but I haven't got any more codes.

well I got low boost Sunday morning which put it in limp mode. This morni g I got p0237 and p0069 again. Something has got to be causing this???
|
Funny thing, I got a low boost code out of the wild blue Saturday. It went down the interstate going 70. But as soon as I hit a hill, turned into a dog. I managed to get to a parts store before they closed at noon and had them clear the code. Never came back then or now.
I'll look up the other codes and what causes them!!! ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- OK, the P0069 might be do to a faulty inlet air temperature(sensor on the air cleaner cover) and the P0237 might be due to a faulty IAT(MAP)sensor. There is some voltage/ohm testing involved also. Might be easier to have the dealer check it out w/ a Star Scan. |
IAT and MAP are 2 different sensors ...........they are just below the head back by #6 on the drivers side.........pull em both and clean em then use good contact grease on the electrical fittings......the IAT sensor is small and a deep well socket will work fine, the MAP is a bigger sensor and you need a deep deep socket to get it.......I made mine bu cutting a socket then addin some pipe in the middle

hmm let me know what works guys got the P0237 myself :argh::argh::argh:

The combination, dual function Intake Manifold Air Temperature Sensor/MAP is installed on top of the intake manifold. |
I keep getting these bastards when I leave work in the mornings after just going a short distance... It's still cold but I'm driving real easy?
