Default HELP !ECM PCM REPLACEMENT

I purchased a used oem from a reliable source brought it to the dealership along with new batterys prior to finding out my module was fried i had them rewire my whole truck i also have a gt bully dog tuner installed long story short the dealership has not been taking care of me since ive left my truck there. And they installed it along with new batterys and say it starts when it wants to will run and dosent stay running . they are saying i need to.pay 3000 for a new computer including install they were telling me from the beginning that its not gonna work and ive had prior experinces with being cheated and have a strong feeling they just didnt program it or troubleshooted sensors i also habe a viper alarm and remote start i read this could also be an issue. But it starts and runs. Should i buy a new one or take it somewhere else ?

I wouldn't buy the TIPM from them- you can purchase a used/blank TIPM from craigslist or junk yard for under $200 and have them flash the unit for an hour labor(Which it doesn't take that long). Installing the TIPM is as easy as replacing a battery.

If it will make them feel better prior to buying new computer have them disconnect the bully dog and even alarm- should just need to pull a fuse.

Have they provided any codes/errors that they have found when the truck is started/running?

tipm is the computer- it stands for totally intergrated power module.

Do do you have your truck back and running correctly?
