Anybody know what this hose that connects the lines are for? It's leaking, should I just get a new piece of 1" hose? It looks like it's 1" anyways.

That on the back of the block? There's a short piece of heater hose. Mine was leaking coolant from there- coolant is red like trans fluid..:is that your leak!?

Yeah that what it is, did you just get a new piece of 1" hose? It looks like it's gonna be a bitch to change

Its a hose that coolant runs through. First try just tightening the hose clamps, if it still leaks then replace the hose and clamps.

I did replace mine hose and clamps. Pull your passenger side wheel well splash liner and it's an easy reach. Should be 6mm bolts for the liner then hose clamps are usually 10mm. Pic is through fender - mine drove me nuts I thought I was leaking fuel!https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.die...942bb0c38d.jpg

Yeah it's pissing me off because I just fixed my trans that was leaking and now this, at least this isn't an expensive fix. Thanks for the info
