Programming/Tuning

I have a 06 ram 2500 with the older bully dog programmer. I recently got pulled over for my exhaust (Live in CA) and was told I need to install my stock exhaust and I need to get it inspected by some DOT or some special kind of officer. Said I also need to remove my tuner, can I just remove it by disconnecting the wires and hiding them or do I need to do anything to my ECM as well?

:lol88: gotta love CA! Yes unplugging the module will take the tuning off. Get EFI tuning! Your truck will run cleaner with more power and you dont need a monitor!- no one would know
