Hard or no start mornigs

I recently bought the truck and it wouldn't start with a shot of ether. found a fuel leak fixed it started fine. Lawson injector and had a weak one on the return side replace both of them. started and ran fine for a few weeks. now it's having trouble starting in the morning. but some mornings it fires right up. had aftermarket inline filter fuel filter, removed inline fuel filter seem like it ran a little better. tested my lift pump pressure, engine off 10 psi, engine running 5 psi. tested lift pump pressure a week later 8 psi engine off just below 5 engine running. could lift pump be the problem?

Partly lift pump but no start is a sure sign of low compression So you tested all the injectors? And replaced two of them? Feed tubes tight? No fuel in the oil?

Changed feed hoses and drilled out holes a little bigger on banjo bolt on inlet side of injector pump. Been starting fine since.

:humm: I would lean more towards the liftpump myself, but if it worked, then cool! I wouldnt rule out a possible liftpump in the not so distant future tho.

wont start without ether

Im having similar problems as it wont start without ether. you guys think injectors would be a logical place to look next for me? I have a raptor fuel pump.

Keep using either on it and you won't have to worry about it running!!!!
