Looking for recomendations for a new steering box for my '01 :hellox:

I'd get a factory replacement, nothing fancy or "better". Then a steering box brace for sure.

Agreed! Just an aftermarket replacement steering box will do. Most parts stores will have them on the shelf. It'll make a huge difference in steering for you!

I was a little cautious about using a "parts store rebuild",I went through 3 on my 95 gasser,my local dealer has only rebuilds,was suprised at that,their warrenty 12,000 mi or 12mths,I do have the pitnam shaft support brace,for got to put it in the sig:pca1:

I'm also in the market for a new one. I have been looking into the Borgeson box and that is probably the one I'll also be purchasing.
