You can buy a code reader for $10. Plugs in, shows the code(s), and then you look them up. The more you spend, the more it will tell you about the code.

all over the place - parts stores etc. Expect to pay $100 for a decent one. Even Amazon.com or ebay.
You are looking for an OBDII code scanner If you have a 24V you need one of these along with a fuel pressure guage as a minimum. |
i bought mine for $150 code reader and freeze data well worth it :) flashing check engine is very bad and can cause serious damage. look for damage and oil in the turbo and around it.
