The grid heater delete does nothing for power. a buddy of mine on his 12v did 1000 on diesel only through his grid heater. my truck always had grid heater too when it made 683
To slightly derail the thread... I saw some dual runner intake online... It basically came from one @ the intercooler pipe to intake boot and Y off to stock location (where grid heater is) and also near the back... Wondered if that would actually help... I heard stories about how the cyl run @ different temps but dont know...? |
We live in Colorado. Leave it ON!!!! Its not worth any HP gain and it will make it b*tch to start in anything below 35 degrees. Seeing that this state gets alot of days around or below that, leave it on. :bat:

Ok, I live in Colorado and this morning it was 72* outside when I tried to start my truck. It would only crank and crank over without starting. I gave it a shot of starting fluid and it fired right up. I've noticed that its been getting worse and worse every morning which its been the same temp everyday. Is it due to a relay? Maybe grid heater? Batteries are good. I don't know what direction to go? Has anyone had this problem? Please help!!
