edge comp install
Hey guys just got a edge comp box. Used. I'm not following the part where I gotta tie into the inj. Pump wire. Can somone explain this to me? Makes me nervous

Aint no thing. I'm assuming you still have instructions. Its not a lot of wire to get at, meaning there is not much slack at all. I cut back the protective covering which makes it much easier to get at and see. And like it says the TOP INNER WIRE closest to the block. The tap-in connector is a pretty sweet design. You just need to go for it. I think I put the connector in place with needle nose pliers. I did not disconnect anything like it says may be done. My rig is an 02 but only difference should be where the MAP/Data link, it was near the frame rail. Try not to get the wrong wire I mean there is only two in that area but at least if you do snag the wrong one you will know when stuff does not work. I did mine about a month ago

yeah its super easy to tap the pump im 17 and i installed my edge juice with attitude and tapped the pump in like 30 mins if not faster i like my stuff looking clean so i ran the wires so people cant see them:tu:

a stelth cover is nice for this too. :tu:

Yep, a stealth cover makes it very easy to tap the pump.

Alright thanks fellas:rocking:

So I got it all installed. Seemed to work then I got a check engine light. Plugged my smarty in and the code was MAP sensor voltage too low. I unhooked everything and hooked it up again and still got the cide. Called edge and they said id have to send it in for repair:argh:

How does it react without the edge? See if it is a sensor that went out, or if it is the edge.

I disconnected everything including the batteries. Reconnected batteries and cranked her up and after running about 5 min the code cleared and check engine light turned off
