mine was the same i just fixed it today heres some pics my resistor was pretty beat up but just like RA says a little wire came loose hopefully you can see it in the pics i just soldered it back down and it works again if you dont have a solder radioshack sells an 8 dollar kit with the iron and solder wire which is what i bought any way just thought i would share some pics:c:

took me longer to go to radioshack and get the soldering stuff then it did to fix it heck of alot better than shelling out 60 bucks for a new one:c:
