what year of ford axle do u need i want lock out hubs for my pickup but dont want to spend 2000 bucks on that crappy dodge axle if u dont mind me asking im sorry this doesnt really go with the flow of this thread but just wondering:humm:
only downside is your going to have to make your own link brackets, coil buckets etc.. and the initial cost of the axle is expensive a good rebuilt ford dana 60 runs about 1300 bucks... personally i think it would be easier to maybe find an 03 and up AAM front.. atleast its got the brackets and coilspring buckets.. a really cool swap would be to find a set of the new power wagon axles that come stock with lockers... dream big its just money right:w2: or you could go through dynatrac and buy there free spin kit http://www.dynatrac.com/products_freespin_dodge.html |
would this work? Dana 60 Detroit Locker 4.10 & Down 35 Spline Axles
or Off Road Store: Powertrax Lock-Right Locker for Dana 60 with 35 splines - #2620, Lock-Right Lockers, LR2620 just wanting to make sure before i invest in a new toy and dont wanna buy a p.o.s. but also don't wanna break the bank |
read the info under this powertrax it states the years 00-02 32 spline in a dodge this is the style you need. they have more than this but it's some info
Powertrax No-Slip Locker Dana 60 32 Spl 92-0460-3200 [PT 92-0460-3200] - $459.00 : JTs Parts & Accessories, Justdifferentials.com |
ok got it now and another question is how many splnes should the dana 80 rear be? its stock limited slip.. what all would i need to put a powertrax in it?
