Rocker Arms and Pivots Scored/Scratched Help??
 

After cleaning everything up from my blown head gasket I found that my rocker arms and the pivot pins are scored. It looks like its been that way for a while. I'm not sure what to do... my budget is pretty much blown from all the extra work and parts. Anyone know if its a 911 emergency or if I can drive on them until summer?

im not sure what u mean bye scored? but if u need some, u can pm me, we have some here in the shop

Ther best way to describe it is there are gouges in the rocker arm and the pivot where they are rubing each other. I would need them ALL because every one of them is gouged. I just don't know how normal it is. 177k miles..... Too bad roller rockers are well over a grand!!! :argh:

are u talking bout the cylinders on the inside of the rocker arms?

Yes that's what I'm talking about.

So the chrome is scored? Mine was as well, I just used a file smoothed it up them polished.
