Hard Starting When Warm

Has anyone had this issue? I have no codes, great fp. it starts great when i first fire it up but after running for a while she doesent wanna start.

You really don't wanna ask this question cause your gonna get an answer that your not gonna like.

It's not the only possibility but the most likely problem is your VP44 is goin out. It's one of the most common symptoms of it and no codes is not unusual.

another thing to check is if ur tank is vapor locked i know on mine on a hot day its hard to start but just go unscrew ur gas cap and listen for pressure being released.

If this is your problem it's an easy fix. Your rollover valve in the fuel tank is plugged up. Snap the old one out and snap a new one in.

If you go to your local Bosch Service center they can plug a code reader into your VP44 and tell you exactly what the problem is if there is one with it. Only Bosch can reads these codes, even Dodge can't do it.

This wouldn't happen only when warm, it would be at random or a constant. Happening only when warm is an electronic issue of some sort.

If it is the VP, it sounds like the circuit board is overheating and locking up.

Just my $.02
