i was kinda wondering on a ho vp44. What kinda rpms should i see. the truck is in my sig. im getting 3,600 wot. could i get more an how? thanks for eny info.:humm:

thanks so it sounds like the rpms will increase with good valve springs? but is there a point the 44 will not keep up on rpms? will it just stop fueling at a sertain point?

This is why most guys wanting to turn high rpm's do a P-Pump Conversion. The VP44 just can't turn the high RPMs.

Give Mr. McCabe a call, have talked to him a few times about this, he said something about a chip or something that will let it spin to 4200rpms, but he did suggest that upgraded valvetrain would be a good idea. I eventually plan on doing all of this with a new cam, and studs and rings, for good measure, but that will be awhile.
