Thoughts on a Magnaflow muffler
 

I'm looking at putting a Magnaflow muffler on my 02 to tone it down a little, and see if it picks me up in mileage. Anyone used or have any info on this thought:humm:? The muffler is $50, and its a 5" so i'm going to take it down to a 4" with my 4" straight pipe. I'm hoping I get some good info, because I want to get it.

i got a 5 inch magnaflow. its a good piece:tu:

I have a 4" Magnaflow shortie on the 1st Gen, sounds great. Just enough to take the edge off the straight pipe sound and reduce towing drone. I'd recommend it, for sure. :tu:

I've had the same Magnaflow 5 inch since 2003 and it's outlasted 2 tail pipes. Doesn't lower the decibels much, but does get rid of the drone/buzz - as others have said. More like a big resonator....
