99 dodge idles but no go!!!

my 99 24v 3500 is pretty much stock except a intake and exhaust. it has 250k. i use it for a daily work truck. i have been making my own biodiesel at home, i know i know everybody has an opionion about this but i ran the same stuff in my 12v for 2 years with no problems except the occasional fuel filter clog. when i start up it idles just fine but when i step on the throttle it starts sputtering and choking out. everybody that i know who has or knows about diesels in general just shruggs thier shoulders and says "i dunno". fuel filter is clean thought maybe the injectors were clogged. i am not a diesel dummy but am clueless on some things, this bieng one of them. please please help i need to get this truck back on the road. im having to drive my 2wd toyota and i cant haul nearly as much. thanks if you can give me some help

the computer and bio diesel will not harm a vp 44 clogged fuel filters will

roy1979 12-08-2009 01:54 PM

Do you have any fault codes? I will tell you this now, I have had 5 sets of injectors come through that have used oil based bio fuel, you would only need to see the inside of one to change your opinion about using it.

if you have to buy a ecm you can buy them aftermarket and then take to dodge for flashing. I saved about $400 by ordering ecm at oreilly auto parts( mine is 99 to if they tell you they can get tell them to keep looking they sell them in clinton tn). the reason i told you this is i have a friend in pa they told him they could not get them:dang:
