Time to winterize
 
i did an antifreeze flush and tstat replacement this summer


And i just changed my oil , aired my tires up to 50 psi and put my cold front on today

Why RTV on the Therm housing? There is a seal on the Thermostat, I changed mine and did not used RTV, no leaks. Also wondering if you let the engine get up to operating temp when you had the rad flush in the system? If you didn't, all you have done is clean the heater core.

ive always put RTV on them and yes it was up to operating temperature

Just checking, I am a Heavy Equipment Technician by trade up here in Canada. I don't want anyone to do any wasted effort.
