No 4wd

Just this past week my 4wd stopped working and I don't know whats wrong its a 2001 2500. I put it in 4 low and it changes all the gearing it doesn't turn the front wheels though. Any thoughts?

check your vaccum lines that go to the front actuator

You can also physically check the actuator to see if it is working if you get your hands on a hand vaccum pump. Mine did this but it was just the eclip inside the housing that came off and let the actuator slide out of the housing a 1/4 inch rather than sliding the fork across to engage the front axle.

Most of the time its the vac lines by the t-case that pop off if thats the case put zip ties around them but i would highly recomend you do the vacume actuator delete just look on ebay type in dana 60 CAD 150$ more then worth it for the peice of mind as diesels and vacume usualy dont mix ...

Front axle actuator is bad most likely,
