lol @ dragon flow.
twin route 62/65/12 over 75/83/1.10 (S362 over S475 compound twins) 7x.012 sac or 6x.013 sac injectors 110# springs & HD push rods head studs (just the regular arp2000s) wiretap fueling box (edge comp, tst comp, etc..) built trans, or DD clutch (depending on manual or auto) gauges 150GPH lift pump (AVOID PUREFLOW PRODUCTS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!) single route same as above but replace twins with a 64/71/14 or a 66/74/14 if you fall short, you really have only 3 choices from here... 1. higher output injection pump like a dragonfire (not dragonflow...dragonfire! there is a difference!!) or monster stage II/stage III, or P7100 pump conversion 2. port and polish the head, hog out the intake and polish it, should net about a 50-100hp gain by optimizing the flow in the head 3. injectables (N2O, H2O/meth, LPG) |
Whats this pure flow stuff going around mine works great

their newer pumps are failing and having issues left and right. pureflow has changed ownership at least once or twice in recent years and their QC has gone right out the window...
people are having pumps leak fuel into the motors, and fuel pressures dropping 12psi between idle and WOT, and fuel psi jumping all over the place, etc... I have an airdog too, but mine is about 5 years old, back before they started having problems... there is a new thread almost daily on cumminsforum about airdog/raptor failures, and a huge warning thread about pureflow... back on topic: my truck fell short of 600hp, but it landed right where I wanted it... I run S357/S475 twins crower valve springs and manton push rods arp 2000 studs NO fire rings or o-rings in the head lol 6x.013 sac injectors adrenaline w/pulse for electronics + wiretap dual disc clutch and hd clutch hydraulics old school airdog150 dual boost guages (one for primary, one for total), fp gauge, egt, trans temp gauges. 5" straight pipe exhaust from the S400 back. (5" down pipe too) my truck on the dyno last august at our dyno day: we were experimenting with dyno loads on my first couple runs increasing the load higher and higher... settled at 6800lb load. 2nd run was like 10k load in 6th gear lol just to see if it made any difference. |
