Shook me sh*tless
Well on my way home today on interstate goin 85mph went over a bridge and truck just started shakin pretty bad so I slowed down and kept goin at 65. Decided to see if it would happen again at 85 so got up to it and over another bridge it just shook like hell for a good half mile or however long it took me to stop. Pulled off interstate got out looked here and there couldn't really see nothin out of the ordinary so got on my way home just did 65 rest of way and it was fine but I could still here some noise comin from under truck. Can anyone give me any insight what to look for? Possible driveline issue or suspension issue any help is greatly appreciated

Check the tie rods and Ball joints while you're at it :c: |

yep death wobble for sure. still chasing my death wobble down. re balancing my wheels helped mine a lot but still having problems. im assuming they mean the steering stabilizer shock also known as the steering damper when they say shimmy shock. mine is being replaced this week. track bar is a common culprit as well.

So there is really no for sure issue? Just got to throw money at it and hope it fixes it?

If it only happens at 85mph on bridges, then you don't have it nearly so bad as most. There are a number of inherent flaws in the steering geometry of these trucks, and any one of them could be the main culprit although all or none may contribute. Steering damper is common, the bigger your tires are the beefier it should be to compensate. The track bar is commonly bitched about, and upgrading is commonly praised as the solution. The steering box is mounted to a tin can, and a reinforcement is a well known fix. But depending on the condition of all of your front end components, it's hard to say from here.
