Excellent, and a cheap solution as well. Thanks.

You bet. Mine was around $70 and took me about 20 min to cut the box and mount everything up. I would've paid way more for the sound than $70 lol

So, the filter is $70 or do you gets things with it. Or is this a washable unit?

Been doing some surfing. Looks like you transposed the filter number. Should be 6637. But thanks again for the help.

Nope, filter all alone was like $68 or something like that. Mine is just a fleetguard and is non washable... I'm sure you can find one that is, but I would just buy a filter and a skin...

BHAF lets some whistle through

do you have 300HP injectors (ie RV275 or do you have +300 hp over stock?)

joecool911 02-20-2013 11:59 AM

I'm stock OEM on the motor.

nskyline34 02-20-2013 12:18 PM

You do not need 300hp injectors. The RV275's though are a +40hp injector that will add a little fuel mileage too. Just make sure that you get a lift pump first so you dont kill that VP44.

Napa sold the 6637 for $44. Pretty good for what I've seen on the Internet and they had it in two hours for me.

:argh:I've been trying to get the snap ring out. The notch is at the top or the ring. It is very strong steel of some sort..can't get a pic or screwdriver under it. I've tried with as much force as I dared...didn't want to slip and bugger the wheel. So...I wondering about some kind of reverse snap ring plier, or something that will spread in the gap . That damn lock ring is stout. Any ideas out there?

i used a big snap on snap ring pilers then a srew driver to get under it.
