Update. Well I have fuel in the IP, but not coming out. My mechanic is going to replace the Banjo (valve) on the output of the pump and see if that changes anything..
After that, it looks like the pump (for whatever reason has given up the ghost...) Thanks to all who have given opinions and advice on this thread. I greatly appreciate everyone's willingness to take the time and provide the info... :c: I'll let you know how it turns out... |

Lucas, Thank you very much!!
As I said before, I appreciate all the advice I've gotten from all the Diesel Bomber members. The sponsors here are awesome... :U: :U: The shop got the pump this morning and are installing it right now. I've asked them to leave the wire tap for some future date. Just install the pump and leave the Comp hooked to the MAP sensor. I assume, that the Comp no longer provides timing with that setup. Here's hoping all goes well.... :c: |
Sounds like its time for a Stealth Cover
|
Yeah, I'm hoping that tap wasn't the cause of the original pumps demise.
Thanks again for everyones help!!! You folks are the greatest.......:deal::5: |
Dude you should have them solder on the tap wire and cap it before they put the pump in. way easier to do it on the bench.
|
I'll call em and see how far along they are.
Thanks... |
What's the big deal with tapping the wire on the 44?
You're talking about when you tap it for like an Edge programmer right? |
Always just use the a plate to tap the wire. It's the only sure way to do it and make it clean and long lasting. Not to mention simple.
