Adjusting throttle pedal

My accelerator pedal has a ton of slack in it. When i push it to the floor i'm only at half throttle. Is there a way to adjust it? Its a 93 d350 auto.

Find something that will clamp the cable to extend it and pull it tight to the pedal sticking out farther making it tighter. Adjust throttle linkage rod tighter at the pump "careful with the plastic ends they get brittle and break easy" , remove high idle screw, and you can move the throttle rod ball up to the higher hole on the throttle lever to help with more full throttle travel.

i had that problem going over togeetee pass going to jackson hole, 3weeks ago, pulled over and noticed no power thought my injector pump dying, looked under dash at pedal and could pull the cable back from the pedal 1-1/2" pulled a mcgyver and use a 5 hour energy drink lid, cut little hole for that plastic clable stop and installed it in 15 min, was more pain in ass to hold the cable and thread it thru and place plastic cable stop back on! lol full pedal and now more power!!
