Congrats on the find! Those non intercooled trucks will run pretty hard when cranked up. I would change the throttle and return spring linkages and get rid of the high idle screw before you do the 3200 spring, doing the throttle mod will gain 500rpm or so just by itself. You should be close to 250-300rwhp with just a stock turned up truck. Do a google search for Project Rust Bucket to see my upgrade path. And again, welcome! :c:

I am going to agree do what this guy^^^ says he seems to know his stuff since he has the highest rated VE pumped 1st gen.

Thanks for all the support guys. I'm going to be busy for a little while . My window fell into my door,I've got a hole in the floor, trans pan gasket, and 5 studs to replace. Then I can get guages and go from there. Super excited.

Sounds like a good plan. These trucks are super easy to make 300rwhp, and they're light, so they'll outrun most things. Let me know if you need any help.

Exactly. I've raced a couple LMM duramax's with this 93. One was off the line, he did a boosted launch n I still got him on the top end of 2nd n kept pulling on him. Another he tried to keep me from passing him but I grabbed another gear n put the go pedal down n trucked by.

My old 90 only have exhaust, modded air box, e-fan n modded pump with stock rotated fuel pin n I had a hard time keeping tires on it with my heavy right foot.
