Power im not sure if its totally unrealistic but I would like to get close to 500hp I have no idea if that is possiable but from the very little reading I have done on this hx35 with a hs3b turbo set up It clames you can make that. what i need injectors wise I would love help there too haha. My over all plans with the truck is to be a show truck im doing alot of body work and paint and geting axles ready to be pouder coated and already painted the frame and other little odds and ends to make the truck super clean. I want to make 500hp because I have a friend with a Powerstroke 6.4 that put down a solid 500hp and thinks that Fords are the best and I want to line up with him and show him what real power is haha.

With a manual trans, I think you could get close to 500 rwhp, but it will take a lot of work. Maybe a better secondary turbo as well. Your hx35 over an ht3b or s475 would be a good starting point turbo wise. Re-read the DTR link with the wastegate work on the hx35. A good set of 6x.016s, a maxed pump, lots of timing, a ported head, and good fuel system are all in order as well. BC847's truck's setup would be a good one to copy, sans the auto trans.:rocking:

If he's got a 6.4 you better shoot for 6-700hp to beat him, your manual tranny is gonna slow you down a bit. Also plan on changing out that Getrag if you want to run a bunch of power in front of it, an NV4500 or NV5600 would be a better option, they're alot tougher.

Cool yeah I know he will beet me on the strip I just want to put more down on the dyno haha. I have a great machinist witch I can work with and do things for a great price what do you all recommend I do to the head like porting and such is their anything I can do to make it super reliable ? Also hp are the bottom Ends on these things should I be worried about that as well ? Thank you all for your imput !

I did the NV4500 swap into my first gen, I highly recommend it, its a good transmission... a relatively simple conversion as well, I posted a detailed Thread:

Awesome thank you ! I think I'm gonna put my getrag in right now to get the 5 speed swap done and rolling then once I get ready to put that twin set up together I'll pull mine out and sell it to buy a nv4500

The bottom end is pretty tough, it should hold up to all you're doing to it just fine. as far as reliability mods I would say....

head decked
studs and o-rings
tranny mods (clutch, but preferably get rid of the Getrag)
keep your fuel and air matched well to keep EGT's in line
Fluidampr

Thats the bottom line for me, there's more you could do, but for your uses and power level they aren't necessary.
