ve pump banjo fix?
 
hey i recently bought a 91 cummins with the ve pump.i also recently broke the banjo bolt(not the one for fuel).i heard something about a fix that uses a brake fitting and hose of some sort.anyone have any info on that?all help is greatly appreciated.

look back a few pages on here someone made a thread to buy replacements, you will save trouble for yur self and risk losing boost

I used 1/4" od nylon air brake tubing and the intake side is a 1/8" NPT 90* elbow and afc side is a straight fitting 1/16"NPT both fittings are push lock style. Just make sure you have a clean straight cut on the tubing before sliding it in and should not have any leaks. Had an extra fitting on the afc side because of limited parts available, cleaned up now just dont have an updated pic. http://s1162.photobucket.com/albums/...=boosttube.jpg

thats the exact setup i was looking for.thanks.seems pretty simple to do and parts should be more available than the banjo setup....i got my banjo bolt in from ofi.com and i got overnight shipping,which took 5 days to get here,then they sent the wrong one.so i prob gonna try a different setup.thanks
