They are all good :rocking: , just depends what you use it for. 89-91.0 are non i/c and have big injectors stock and make good toys. 91.5-93 are intercooled, come in a club cab, have an overdrive auto, look newer than most of the non i/c. The 93's are a little different truck wise but nothing major.

Dude. I have a intercooled 1992 and am in love with it, I may not every be able to make the number my buddies can with the common rails and p pumps, but the don't have the torque I have either. And idk much about the non intercooled but all I know is they prolly will be harder to manage your egts with

Yes they are definitely harder on the egt's standpoint but you can always throw an intercooler on or water/meth if things get too crazy :scare2:

Try to stick with the 91.5 ~ '93 intercooled trucks.

- The '91.5 and before engines run the 9mm injector bodies that end-up with the heads cracking between the injector bores and the adjacent valve seats. The 91.5 to '93 trucks run a 7mm injector body.
- The '91.5 ~ '93 250 & 350 frames are the stoutest of them all.
- The '91.5 ~ '93 run a cross-flow radiator that performs better than the earlier down-flow radiators.
- The '91.5 ~ '93 automatics are the A518 (3-speed with overdrive) for a little better stock economy.
