92 hot soak start problem
 

hi guys ok so the truck is a 92 cummins with 275000 on it i was told its a replacment ip and 94 turbo if that matters but my issue is if the truck is at opperating temp and i shut down it dont want to restart after a few minutes you have to crank the hell out of it to get it running ... seams like its not getting fuel to me but i dont know ... if i let it cool down 45+ minutes in 30 deg weather it starts perfect ???????? im lost and pretty new to these motors please help :argh::argh::argh::argh:

Sounds like the head of the ip is worn. Try pouring cool water on the pump next time it does that and see if its starts.
