after market dually wheels?
how would i do this what lug nuts to use any help would be great
depends on what u got. if they r steel wheels u need to find out if they r pilot or bud wheels an get lugs an studds for that type, if they r alum. they r all the same
most dually wheels IIRC are hub centric, meaning they are centered by the hub, and use flat lug nuts. The other situation is lug centric, where the wheel is centered by the lug nuts, and the lug nuts are tapered where they go into the wheel.
What wheels are you running? Every alcoa I've seen is hub centric, even SRW wheels. If the holes in the wheel are beveled, use a tapered lugnut. if they aren't, get the alcoa lugnuts. I haven't yet found a decent replacement for the alcoa nuts, theirs are pretty sweet. |
i think fastcr just likes talkin bout nuts lol :humm: just kiddin man, i had to
they are 5/8 lugs do they make a tappered lug for that
if i remember correctly first gen dually wheels are coined wheels ( correct me if i am wrong )
and the studs a huabs are made to accept coined wheels what i am not shure is what you have to do to make a non coined wheel work and stay tight i know that rickson wheels make direct fit wheels for our trucks check them out |
