head lights mess with gauges
My gauges peg and some go limp when I turn lights on is this a common problem
Yep, your body ground from the neg post on the battery to the core support is shot. Replace it with heavier gauge wire. The bigger the better...
its more than likely the voltage regulator i have a 91 first gen truck that had the same problem then it was fixed after replacing the voltage regulator located on the firewall near the windsheild wiper motor...
^^^The 93s don't have a voltage regulator like that.
Best guess is the main ground is shot as was stated or if you taped into your headlights for lighting your guages that your drawing to much power and causing problems. |
Ihave not tapped into anything it has only done it twice I will check that ground
