Tach pin on SBEC
Okay so on the SBEC there is a pin for "provision for tach conn." is there anyway to wire a regular tach into this?

I believe the aftermarket tach manufacturers like Isspro and Autometer recognize this plug in their wiring.
The '92-'93 1st gen trucks have the plug taped (or hanging) near the fusebox. It's a 4 pin flat plug, that is black in color. Mark. |
Yeah i did some more research and found that you can hook into this pin/plug like you said under the dash.
the OEM factory tachometer plug offers the following: - 18ga Black = +12vdc for gage lights - 20ga Orange = 12vdc Common - 18ga Red = Switched +12vdc - 20ga Grey w/light blue tracer = Tachometer Signal From PCM |
Yeah, those are the colors on my stock tach, on my desk, here.
