could also be somethin wrong with the rear end, if the lash of the pinion was to much it could be binding slightly? anyone?
|
my truck does that when i lay in it in 4th and 5th, i was thinking it was time for u-joints in the rear, my clutch isn't even a year old yet....and it's a good south bend clutch. at first i thought it was too much timing, till i backed it off to stock, still does it gonna put new u-joints in it tomorrow after work, so i'll chime in if it fixed it or not

Yeah this guy is running an auto so clutch wouldn't be applicable in his case. All others seem logical so I guess it's just a process of elimination now.

maybe your truck just has enough power that it chirps the tirs a little then catches traction again on and off when starting:rocking:

I was wondering if anyone could me how to adjust the bands in the trans thanks:hellox:

I dont know if your truck has a carryer bearing on the drive shaft but you might check and see if you have one if its bad mine went out and cause sorta what you are talking about.:pca1:
