Other then the WIF light it changes nothing.

That is fine except for one thing, you lost all you gained from going to bigger lines, the stock filter housing is a HUGE restriction.

How cold does it get by you? I dont have a preheater and never had an issue. Coldest its been is in the teens for a few days though.

we see the teens too thats about the coldest it gets here, will it still start without any problems at that temp or will i be cranking on it forever? or is the intake heater more important than the fuel heater?

and whats the biggest issue with it going down to the smaller tube size? will i love flow or pressure?

you'll loose flow....and to the guy that thinks 1/2 inch is a wast.....crank your pump up a little, my fass sucks sorry if i had half a brain i wouldn't have wasted the money on it in the first place!!

It doesn't matter how big the lines are in most practical applications we're talking about here. There are two factors that seem to be getting overlooked all the time. Like has been mentioned, the stock pickup and the stock filter housing represent LESS than 5/16" flow paths. You could run a 10" line through them with a massive pump powered by a locomotive at 1000psi and would not flow much more fuel than the stock diaphragm pump is capable of moving through the same parts.

#2: GPH (GALLONS per hour). You are seriously deluded if you think you need to measure the fuel burned by those DDP injectors in gallons per hour. The amount suppplied needs to only slightly exceed the amount burned in the combustion chambers. Just a little more for cooling circulation through the system is all that is needed. I think it is funny all these guys running the ridiculously expensive FASS and AD setups when all it is doing is retuning most of fuel back to the tank through the regulator.

Get rid of the restrictions and run a pump that is rated at least 40GPH at around 15psi and you will have no issues with fuel supply.

The guy's name is NadirPoint (on here). :tu:

i did not say i had 500 hp now i am wanting my truck to be able to obtain this i have only owned it for 4 months so i have some stuff to do and as of now my airdog 150 quit working so i am trying tto figure out what type of fuel sytem that i am gonn use to keep reliablity, mpgs, and performance thank you so for your quirky response as if to say i was telling a lie or something like im gonna get 500 hp out of a k&n intake box and a adr but anyways why do you act like 500 hp is not alot i had a grandprix with a 700 hp 3.8 v6 at the wheels 500hp is just what i want as a baseline a couple hundred more than stock is easy my grandma could do it with her rainer
