the comp wheel is a 60/80mm and the turbine wheel is 65mm, i have that turbo, they have a t-4 foot its is about 14cm with a dual port w/g.

i'm running one on my truck right now with a modded exhaust housing.
mine came off an 7.8 international

So the turbo that my buddy has is missing the wastegate acutator? So is it worth it to put in my truck?

tower_ofpower 01-06-2010 09:58 PM

you'd have to pruchase an aftermarket exh manifold for it to bolt up being that alwaysworking has pointed out its a T4 flange. and according to his specs it'd be the same as moding your H1C to those specs. main benefit would be the dual port W/G. no uneven manifold pressures between the front 3 and rear 3 cylinders. the turbo would still boast quicker spool up and higher boost numbers. it may be something worth doing but ATS is the only one that i've seen to make a T4 flanged manifold for the 5.9

you would never need the w/g on that turbo unless your way over fueled.
you can modify an exhaust housing off an s200 and have a 12cm w/g housing.
then youd have a 60/65/12 that sounds really good, the housings are not hard to machine.

there are adapters to run the t-4 foot on a t-3 mainifold

cummins_guy 01-07-2010 10:15 AM

there should be a part # on the cartridge.

Bad93Cummins 01-07-2010 11:47 AM

so the turbo is a 62/65 turbo? Ill try and get some more numbers off of it today.

So I would need to find a S200 to modify the ex. housing and make it a 62/65/12 turbo? Is the turbo worth messing with? Ill be getting pod injector's soon, the guy is shipping them monday, would it be a good turbo with those injectors or no?

THANKS

its a 60/65 not a 62

i have a source for exhaust housings if need be.

Bad93Cummins 01-09-2010 01:03 PM

Oh okay. how much for an exhuast housing and what size would work good with my Nv4500 5 spd?

also being it a 60/65 would it be a good turbo with my dennyt and pods?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Got 2 more picture's, couldn't find anymore #'s on the turbo

Unless its free I would not mess with it. Any money you put into it when you outgrow/want to sell it you will never find someone to pay anything for it. Also looking at the bad 1st two pictures, the second one looks like it has alot of corrosion and rust in the compressor... I'm willing to bet it needs to be rebuilt at minimum and maybe even more.... I would pass on it...

Just my opinion.

for probably the same price after making it work, you could go find a nice used holset hx40 for 00 bucks and bolt it right on and not worry about the headache. thats what i would(and have done with my own truck)

Bad93Cummins 01-12-2010 10:17 AM
