Everyone was wrong then. For a close to stock truck, the 60mm upgrade is alright. However, once you add bigger injectors, or turn the pump up on a Non I/C truck, it's pretty much useless. Richie O is making right around 300rwhp with his '89, with an S300G (much better than an H1C) and still has EGT problems.

If you want 450rwhp, a 62/71/14 S300 is the turbo you should be looking at, not an H1C.

:D:D I'm gonna go ahead and reply to this one. He's 16 and doing mild mods for now.

What does age have to do with anything? I was replying to what I put in bold. No matter how old you are, or if you're only doing mild mods, a 60mm H1C will still not support 450rwhp. Spreading information doesn't do any good if you spread the wrong information. I was simply correcting him, and I know I'd want someone to do the same to me if I thought something that turned out to be wrong. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, if it came off that way, but I didn't want him spreading false information either.

:ouch: Sorry, I wasn't implying that you were rude, I didn't notice the bold letters. I took it as you were just explaining to him that he needed a bigger turbo. I was missing the big picture. And good call, That turbo would have a heck of a time making that hp if it can be done at all, and if you put one on a 450 hp truck it would probably end up in a bunch of small pieces in a hury.:c:

sorry guys for saying tht maybe it was 350 hp cause 450 hp is proly to much for tht thing to handle i was wrong but im still learnin

well the upgrade woks better on my truck then the stock turbo set up. and i'm prolly only pushen 250ish hp. but 1400* is better then wrapen around past 1600* on the pryo so its a good investment till tax return time.
